THE MUSIC HOUSE OF BLACKSBURG STUDIO POLICY
Payment may be made each month or biannual. All payments are due by day 8 of each month. A $20 fee will be applied to all late payments. A 24 HOUR notice is required to cancel a lesson except for personal illness or a medical emergency. No refunds allowed. The instructor reserves the right to dismiss a student(s) with poor attendance or continual poor preparation at any time. Students are expected to practice and prepare for each lesson. Students are expected to be on time. Students will be HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to participate in studio recitals and performances. An acoustic piano or keyboard with weighted keys with a bench is required for piano students to practice on. Students/Parents are responsible for scheduling make-up lessons. Make-up lessons must occur during each given semester. Students are allowed two make-up lessons a semester. The studio must be given a FOUR WEEK notice in order to discontinue lessons.
